Ezy Image Manager is part of LongBridge’s Ezy Imaging Suite of products, which is an Enterprise-class Document Imaging solution that allows you to perform retrieval, printing, manipulation, transformation, editing and storage processing tasks for document and/or content management integration needs within Oracle Forms web-based applications.

It allows you to retrieve and display existing imaging documents that consists of a single page or multiple pages in BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG or TIF format from various document repositories such as local folders, shared network folders, web/application server URL folders, FTP server folders and database servers containing the imaging document BLOB column.

Imaging documents that have been opened allows you the ability to view and/or manipulate the document as you wish, and/or capture new pages to be updated for storage within the document repository from its original location.

  • Completely flexible real-time configuration of Toolbar and User Interface (UI) to show/hide controls that suit your current application needs, with the possibility of allowing more functions to be exposed as your application is enhanced for the future.
  • Very fast image loading and rendering using parallel processing and 3rd party imaging library.
  • Smart Key Accelerators and selecting a Thumbnail Page for very fast page navigation.
  • Smart “Save Document Preferences” to set your preferred file format when saving a single page or multi-pages document through the Java-side ‘Save Document’ button.
  • Transform, Edit and Merge any imaging document to update the document into its original repository location.
  • Add additional page(s) to current document before or after any existing page from an existing imaging document.
  • Implement Horizontal or Vertical Toolbar for image viewing.
  • Add custom image watermark during saving or printing process of your imaging document.
  • Flexible Magnifier feature that allows you to change the scale and size “on-the-fly.
  • Smart “Resize Image” feature with ability to add a border with your preferred colour to any image page.
  • “Restore Original Image” and “Reload Last Opened Document” features to manipulate and save changes made into another document and restoring the original image page or entire document to resume with other image processing activities.
  • Extensive Diagnostics Report, which is very useful for troubleshooting purposes.

An option to also display each document’s thumbnail image of its first page is also available, if desired, and the ability to open the entire document within its own Image Manager screen as shown below.

Forms APIs can be called to set real-time configuration of its Java-side User Interface; update the imaging document into its original document repository; and perform multiple functions available directly from the Java UI that is fully customizable.
