Ezy PDF Capture is part of LongBridge’s Ezy Imaging Suite of products, which is an Enterprise-class Document Capture solution that allows you to perform capture, manipulation, transformation, editing and storage processing tasks for document and/or content management integration needs within Oracle Forms, Oracle Apex, Oracle ADF, JSP, JSF, OAF, .Net, PHP, Formspider, Ruby and other web-based applications.

It allows you to capture and manipulate single or multiple pages of documents, images or photos from TWAIN compatible scanners, webcams, digital cameras, mobile phones, signature pads or other devices that act as a scanner, WIA devices and existing imaging document repositories (from local and shared network folders), which is connected to the client machine.

It supports various PDF document storage repositories such as local folders, shared network folders, web/application server URL folders, FTP server folders and database servers containing the PDF document BLOB column.

Captured documents will be saved in PDF format, based on the range of pages specified for storage within the appropriate document repository.

  • Completely flexible real-time configuration of Toolbar and User Interface (UI) to show/hide controls that suit your current application needs, with the possibility of allowing more functions to be exposed as your application is enhanced for the future.
  • Smart “Save Document Preferences” to set your preferred PDF file compression ratio when saving a single page or multi-pages document.
  • Transform, Edit and Merge any PDF document to save into preferred repository location.
  • Programmatically setting the last selected device in order to save time prior to the document capture process.
  • Smart “Auto Start Capture” feature to automatically start scanning process upon navigating to Document Capture screen.
  • Set device settings programmatically within your application and hiding Java-side UI screen controls.
  • Set Device Capabilities and hiding the native device’s UI for uninterrupted document capture operation.
  • Add additional page(s) to current document before or after any existing page either from Device or from existing imaging document.
  • Auto-Crop on Acquire” feature that will crop ONLY section of the page related to actual image during capture process and generate a very clear image with ‘Auto Contrast’ applied internally.
  • Add custom image watermark during saving process of your captured document.
  • Flexible Magnifier feature that allows you to change the scale and size “on-the-fly.
  • Smart “Crop on Mouse Released” feature during Image Cropping to save time by reducing one extra keystroke for this process.
  • Smart “Resize Image” feature with ability to add a border with your preferred colour to any image page.
  • “Restore Original Image” feature to manipulate and save changes into another document and restoring the original image page to resume with other image processing activities.
  • Extensive Diagnostics Report, which is very useful for troubleshooting purposes.

The sample screenshots above for Oracle Forms and Oracle Apex respectively allows you to call Forms/JavaScript APIs to set real-time configuration of its Java-side User Interface; save the captured image(s) based on any Page Range into the relevant document repository as many times as desired; and perform multiple functions available directly from the Java UI that is fully customizable.
